| Our puppies are all born in our
study which has been modified as a whelping room too! They
remain in the large whelping box until they are five weeks
old. During this period they will be weaned, wormed at 2
weekly intervals, toilet training is commenced and will become
fully acclimatized to everyday noises of a busy
household. They will be well handled, loved, talked to and
played with. The mother is encouraged to be with them as
much as possible , although once the puppies sharp teeth appear
she is then disinclined to feed them, however she will play with
them and if they get too rough - a growl will teach them another
lesson.

| At 5 weeks of age, when they have
been fully weaned onto 4 meals a day, they are moved to our fully
insulated / heated puppy shed together with it's integral
outside exercise run. This is situated outside our back door
so that the puppies will continue to be socialised and
house trained. It is important that they have exercise in
order for them to develop properly. They will also now get
lots of visits from our Cattery customers which teaches them not
to be afraid of humans. The puppies have Vet Bed to sleep
on and are toilet trained onto newspaper from birth. |

We take a great deal of time and
care in trying to place our puppies in the correct home offering
on going advice once the puppy has left us. We are always
willing to take the puppy / dog back or find it another suitable
home, if, for what ever reason the owner is not able to keep
it. All puppies are Kennel Club registered, given a 5
generation pedigree, diet charts and 6 weeks insurance
cover. We are always at the end of the phone!
It is great fun at Christmas as
we receive cards, letters and photographs from our customers
giving us updated progress of the puppy / dog. One year we
even received a video showing the puppies progress during the
past 9 months which was intriguing!!

| We welcome visitors to come and
see our setters in their home environment and how they
interact with each other, whether or not we have puppies
available at the time. It's such a pleasure to show them
off!! |
